Trachi-Naze baseplates are available in a variety of shapes and sizes and are applied using a well proven medical adhesive system.
Trachi-Naze®
Adhesive Baseplate Fitting
The baseplate and collar (into which the filter cassette fits) adhere to the neck, sealing around the stoma. Baseplates are available in two different materials, to suit your stoma:
- Small and large sizes produced from Hydrocolloid material
- Clear, round, adhesive baseplate
The filter cassettes are secured in place on the collar by a simple twist/turn motion of the occlusion cap which allows finger occlusion to facilitate speech. The Trachi-Naze Hands Free Valve removes the need for finger occlusion and is designed to fit all Trachi-Naze baseplates.
Trachi-Naze +Plus offers a variety of fitting options utilising the non adhesive stoma studs. Trachi-Naze Plus was developed for application onto recessed or uneven stomas.
Trachi-Naze® +Plus
Stoma Studs, Laryngectomy Tube & Tracheostomy Tube Attachment
- Designed for use soon after surgery, Trachi-Naze +Plus was developed for application onto recessed or uneven stomas. Patients can now enjoy the benefits of better breathing, delivered by non-adhesive silicone Stoma Studs and dedicated multi-function Trachi-Naze +Plus filter cassettes.
- The Trachi-Naze +Plus filter cassettes can also be used with the Trachi-Naze +Plus Laryngectomy tube.
- The Trachi-Naze +Plus tracheostomy Tube Attachment (TTA) allows attachment to tracheostomy tubes with a 15mm connector.
