Baseplates

The Trachi-Naze Baseplate comprises 3 key components:

• The baseplate
• The multi-function filter cassettes
• The occlusion cap

Trachi-Naze Baseplates

The baseplate and collar (into which the filter cassette fits) adhere to the neck, sealing around the stoma. Baseplates are available in two different materials, to suit your stoma:

• Small and large sizes produced from Hydrocolloid material
• Clear, round, adhesive baseplate

The right baseplate for you

1) Hydrocolloid baseplate / small. Suitable for very smooth, round flat stomas.

2) Hydrocolloid baseplate / large. For when a large surface area is needed for better adhesion, as with a voice prothesis.

3) Clear, round baseplate. Waterproof, less noticeable baseplates with strong adhesive.

4) This is the most popular baseplate. Non-woven adhesive baseplate For when the stoma is uneven and difficult. Has a stronger adhesive for an uneven and difficult stoma.
