Payment Terms

Payment terms are 30 days from date of invoice, with the exception of.

  • Non-Stocked Lines and Special Orders with a value of over £100 or more will be invoiced on a pro-forma basis.

For orders of £75.00 or less, payment maybe requested using a debit or credit card.

Payment can be made by:

(1) Credit Transfer/BACS

(2) Debit/credit card

(3) Cheque

(4) Bankers Draft/International Money Order

(5) Cash


Delivery Information

  • We will deliver by carrier/courier of our choice. We aim to deliver goods within 3-5 working days from receipt of purchase order. Goods are normally delivered to your stores/goods inwards departments, who will be requested to sign for goods as proof of delivery. This clarifies for both parties that goods have been received in good condition.
  • We are occasionally asked to deliver to hospitals for the attention of specific wards or departments. Please ensure that your reception staff are advised to look out for and sign for these deliveries. Kapitex cannot accept responsibility for any loss of goods in their transfer within the hospital.
  • If there is a discrepancy in delivery, or query relating to it you must contact us within 5 working days of receipt.
  • Please note that any costs incurred by Kapitex due to goods returned as a result of non-delivery may be passed onto you.
  • Orders of non-stock and special-order items may hold increased lead times, please bear this in mind when submitting your order.

Are based on order value:

UP TO £99.99 – £7.75

£100 to £249.99 – £12.50

£250 to £499.99 – £20.00

£500 to £1499.99 – £23.50

£1500 and over – Carriage Free

Next Day at extra cost as below:

Before 10.30am add £32.00

Before 12pm add £16.50

Next day by 5PM add £10.00 For Same Day delivery – POA.

Delivery to the Channel Islands, IOW, Scottish off-shore Islands are not available.

We reserve the right to change next day delivery charges without notice; especially where our couriers increase charges/fuel surcharges.

Returned Goods Policy

Only returns within 30 days of the invoice date will be accepted. Goods returned without prior agreement will not be processed for exchange or credit. A goods return number must be issued by Kapitex and quoted on all return paperwork. Returned goods should be unused and fit for re-sale with no external markings, labels or damaged, or broken seals. All returned goods will be inspected and will only be accepted at the discretion of Kapitex. Please note, a re-stocking charge of 25% of the value of goods returned will be applied. Damaged Goods

Should goods arrive damaged, please sign for the goods as “Damaged” and retain all original packaging (transport carton and product packaging) for inspection by the courier and or Kapitex and be prepared to provide photographic evidence to support any claims. Failure to comply may delay/negate your replacement goods or credit claim.


Stent Returns

  • Any return will be subject to a 20% returns fee, due to Kapitex incurring a 20% returns fee from the supplier. 20% relates to the original sales value of the product. i.e., if product was sold at £100 and then returned, the fee charged would be £20.
  • In order to authorise a return, you must provide us with the REF/LOT/expiry date to (sales@kapitex.com) and wait for authorisation. Unauthorised returns will not be accepted. There is no guarantee that the return will be authorised.
  • The stents must arrive back at Kapitex with a minimum 7 months’ shelf life. (The stent must be received back at the supplier with minimum shelf life of 6 months) All transport costs must be paid for by the customer.
  • The packaging must be undamaged, unopened and without additional labels. If this is not the case, the stent will not be accepted.
  • After checking the returned stents, if they comply with the above, they will be exchanged for ones with a fresh LOT and new expiry date.
  • Stents do not have to be exchanged with the exact product returned. You may request a different size stent dependent upon your needs.


Return of Non-Stock/Special Order Items

We do not accept returns of non-stock and special-order items unless the goods are deemed to be faulty. It is your responsibility, as the buyer, to ensure that you order the correct non-stock/special-order item. Please note that orders placed for non-stock and special-order items cannot be cancelled.


Warranty of Goods

Please follow storage instructions relating to individual products – with regards to temperature, light and general use.

Warranties and guarantees will be invalid if goods were not stored correctly.

Durable products, such as speech aids, will be subject to individual warranties.

Please be prepared to provide evidence of defective product.


Regulatory Information

All medical devices supplied by Kapitex carry the CE mark and/or UKCA mark.

Medical devices manufactured by Kapitex Healthcare Ltd are not made with natural rubber latex.

Product Changes

Due to continuous product improvements, it may be necessary to alter, without notice, products in our range. We endeavour to keep customers informed of product improvements.



Prices listed are subject to VAT.

Goods will be invoiced at the price which is valid on the date of despatch unless otherwise informed. For your convenience we do not have a small/minimum order charge.

We reserve the right to change prices without notice, especially where volatile currency fluctuations apply.


Return of Used Products

If you need to return a used product that has been in contact with biological substances for examination, it is a LEGAL REQUIREMENT that they are returned with a DECONTAMINATION CERTIFICATE

Training Courses

If you book a training course/event from us:

  • Payment must be made no later than 28 days before the start of the course. If it is a late booking (within 28 days) payment must be made immediately.
  • If you cancel the booking for whatever reason cancellation fees are as follows: 28+ days prior – 0%, 27 days to 14 days prior – 50%, less than 14 days – 100%
